Empower your dental career:
Unaccredited certificate program
Atlanta Roswell Dental Assisting School presents a unaccredited dental assisting certificate program, equipping individuals with the skills essential for a career as dental assistants. The responsibilities of dental assistants encompass a spectrum from patient care and x-ray procedures to recordkeeping and appointment scheduling. These duties vary depending on state regulations and the specific dental office. The duration of dental assisting programs typically lasts about one year in community colleges, resulting in a certificate or diploma. Private vocational schools offer shorter programs, ranging from two to three months. Less common are two-year programs leading to an associate degree. For those without formal education in dental assisting, on-the-job training is a viable option. In such cases, a dental assistant or dentist within the office imparts knowledge, covering dental terminology, instrument names, daily task completion, patient interaction, and other crucial skills essential for the smooth functioning of a dental office.
